How buying an alarm clock can change your life.

1 of the biggest things I hear from the artistic entrepreneurs that I piece of work with is about needing more residue.
I demand more than life/work residual.
I tin can't turn my job off at 5pm.
I check my email all the time.
How many of yous are guilty of checking your email as soon every bit yous wake up in the morning? (Tell the truth.)
I used to exist that person who would curlicue over, grab her phone to turn the alert off, and immediately click the mail icon to see if annihilation VERY Of import had happened in the seven hours I'd been comatose.
I don't really know what I was expecting or what I thought I might miss, but it seemed like a very good idea to practise this all the fourth dimension. Immerse myself in e-mail, to show my dedication to my piece of work, right? Wrong.
I have clients and friends who practice the aforementioned affair and are constantly lamenting that its so hard not to check their email as soon every bit they wake up.
My unproblematic solution: remove the trouble and buy an alarm clock.
Past taking away access to your e-mail, you simply cannot check it immediately upon waking, and the addiction shifts.
Its astonishing how simple the solution is sometimes.
Are y'all someone who suffers from a lack of work/life balance? What kind of freedom might an alarm clock give you?
How could you apply this simple solutions theory to other parts of your business and life?
(Remember: dont recall too difficult!)
